This summer, the Coney Island Film Society is hosting a "Rock n Roll Summer" film series. It features a number of familar standards and favorites ranging from Hedwig and Hairspray to Purple Rain, Tommy, and The Wall. But one film seems to have swung in from the rafters and captured my jaded heart (despite is gruesome appearance): Phantom of the Paradise.
