Weekly Geek Roundup: The Sin City Sequel, Lena Dunham, Being Human and more

- Sin City: So, there's finally a trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. I kind of just assumed this movie was never going to happen? I mean...I guess I'll still see this...right? Does everything feel as "eeh" as I do about this or am I just an asshole? Wait, don't answer that.

- Game of Thrones: File this one under Things You Never Knew You Needed. It's a Game of Thrones rap album. Click that link to listen to the whole freakin' album.

- Doctor Who: So, this guy might be the new male companion. His name is Danny and he apparently teaches at the same school as Clara. Which is good, because I think Moffat was at his best when he had an ensemble cast (The Doctor, River, Amy and Rory). So, maybe I'll become interested in this show again? This is one of those shows I love even thought it consistently pisses me off/lets me down. Moving on...

- Amazing Spider-Man 2: These new clips were released today and Stan Lee narrates them and there's a fairly big spoiler in the last video. Click here if you'd like to view the videos/know the spoiler. I don't think it changes much of the movie for me (and the spoiler has nothing to do with Gwen's fate, fyi).

- The Flash: An image of what Flash will look like in his new Arrow-spin-off series was released. I think he looks pretty legit. Also, I don't actually watch Arrow, so.

- Archie Comics: Lena Dunham is writing a four-issue story for Archie Comics because why not?

- Being Human: This show has been cancelled because EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE. This show has always been incredibly underrated. It's kind of everything I wanted True Blood to be. My favorite thing in the world is Buffy the Vampire Slayer...and this is a show that could fit well into the Buffy-universe. Also, Sam Witwer is really fuckin' hot.

- Gotham: Selina Kyle and Brucge Wayne have been cast in the new Gotham show and I can't even pretend to care. The show is about a young James Gordon because, apparently, that's what everyone was clamoring for?

- iZombie: There is one good thing about this series coming to TV: it's being done by Rob Thomas (not the Matchbox20 singer, but the creator of special favorite Veronica Mars). The bad things about this series? Everything else. The TV adaptation seems to be only using the name and nothing else from this really fantastic comic series.

- Back to the Future: Just so we are all clear: the Back to the Future hoverboard commerical with Tony Hawk is fake. So, let's all stop posting about it, okay?
