Will Han Solo and the National Organization of Marriage Produce a Summer Blockbuster?

Screen Rant reports that Harrison Ford and Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin have joined the cast of Gavin Hood's (Director of X-Men Origins: Wolverine) screen adaptation of the galaxy spanning Ender's Game. Cool, right? Who doesn't love a sci-fi blockbuster with a legend like Harrison Ford? (I mean, Cowboys and Aliens was a masterpiece, wasn't it?)

Snark aside, Ender's Game is written by Orson Scott Card, a board member of the virulently anti-LGBT equality group National Organization for Marriage. Card has, according to Good as You, written "'a nasty treatment of Hamlet that portrays the king as evil because he was gay, and who pointedly declared "any government that attempts to change [marriage] is my mortal enemy" while stating his intent to "destroy that government and bring it down, so it can be replaced with a government that will respect and support marriage, and help me raise my children in a society where they will expect to marry in their turn.'"

Any queer Ender's Game fans out there? Either way, does this information make you want to see or stay away from the movie?
