TV Guide recently wrote up some news about Superman: Unbound, an upcoming DC Comics animated feature, with Matt Bomer as the voice of Kal-El. The cartoon's plot is drawn from Geoff Johns's Action Comics storyline about Braniac and his amazing collection of shrunken cities, which I think ends up being Kandor. Anyways, the feature also apparently includes some girl time between Lois Lane and Supergirl, as seen in this still.
Director James Tucker had this to say about Matt Bomer:
"He had a jovial energy that was a little counter to what we usually do with Superman," Tucker says. "But he also had that decency in his voice that Superman really needs no matter which way you go with him."
Superman: Unbound features the voice talents of Matt Bomer, John Noble, Stana Katic, and Molly Quinn and is expected to release later this year.
Oh, and also, I was bored this weekend and spent too much time reading Wikipedia pages about Texas Chainsaw Massacre and discovered Matt Bomer was in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Just wanted to share that.
