Happy 90th Birthday, Stan Lee!

One of the most prolific imaginations in modern literature—and one of mankind's most skillful and enduring self-promoters—Stan Lee, arguably the father of American superhero comic books, turns 90 today. As editor-in-chief at Marvel Comics, Stan helped create (if not outright created) many of the superheroes we still fanboy-complain about today, including the Fantastic Four, Thor, Iron Man, the Hulk, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and the X-Men.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STAN LEE! And until you do it again and we're wishing you a Happy 180th Birthday, MAKE MINE MARVEL!

And just like (most of) the heroes he had a hand in creating, Stan's still kickin' around! Check out his YouTube channel, Stan Lee's World of Heroes, for more comics nerdery from the source.
