Welcome Out, Vincent Price

When we all turn up "Thriller" this Halloween, the lascivious narrator will sound that much more delicious. Victoria Price, the daughter of horror icon Vincent, confirms the long (long, long, long) swirling rumors that he had relationships with men.

The whole interview is worth your time, as Victoria (herself a member of the LGBTQ community) has incredibly warm stories to share, such as house visits from Rock Hudson and her father's gay friends "Uncle Frank and Uncle Rupert."

Price is infamous across the horror-loving generations, either in "Thriller" or his classic 50s chillers House of Wax and The Fly, or perhaps most beloved, his final film performance as the inventor in Edward Scissorhands. And speaking of Tim Burton, his first short film Vincent was narrated by Price and should also be part of your watch list this season. As Ms. Price says in her interview, think of Vincent Price's bisexuality not as some irrelevant speculation into someone's personal life, but as a peek into Hollywood history to see that we have many heroes and icons to use as touchstones.
